At Dandenong Veterinary Hospital, we understand that your pet’s early months are filled with important health decisions. That’s why we’ve created our Nurture Care Program — a comprehensive plan designed to support you and your furry companion every step of the way from their very first junior visit, all the way through their first 18-months of life.
All puppies and kittens that visit us will participate in this program at no additional charge. There is a lot to consider and understand, and we want to support you and help you navigate this period with ease.

Junior Roadmap
Puppies and Kittens have increased needs compared with adult pets, so we have created a simplified roadmap to help you more easily navigate what is needed at what age. This includes puppy and kitten vaccination schedules with age-based brackets and booster requirements, and parasite care that is tailored to their age, weight, and growth rate. Growing animals need to be regularly checked as they develop and mature, monitoring things such as teething, joint development and getting on top of early behavioural issues.

From their very first health check to their transition into adulthood, our program provides life-staged preventative health care designed specifically for puppies and kittens. Our goal is to ensure your pet thrives during these crucial developmental stages. This care is tailored for your pet, and is not a one-size-fits all. We will educate you based on their breed profile, disease risk rates, home environment and lifestyle.
